Your Day 1 yoga practice is about setting the tone for your journey by establishing ease. We clear the slate and start fresh welcoming soft stretching, gentle core awakening and a beginners mind. Move with ease and set yourself up for a smooth ride in this low to the ground yoga practice.

Practice Ease and implement Sukha into your training. Tend to that “good space” on your mat. Open your mind and your heart! Starting off nice and slow. Stay committed – this story is full of twists and turns. You will want to make it to the last 7 days. Let’s do it.

    Hello yoga friends out there! Just loving the Adriene yoga! On my second round of revolution and loving the way my body is changing, just subtle differences, but after many years of doing yoga it’s the first time I’ve followed a program that really makes a difference over time. Question now! Husband has noticed the difference in me and wants to follow the course, problem being he is quite inflexible and can’t even cross his legs – can anyone suggest any of Adrienes lessons that would be advisable to get him a little less inflexible. Keep up the excellent work Adriene, love it!

    I have started today because I was feeling depressed and I needed something to relieve me.

    Here’s to Day 1! I’ve wanted to really get in to yoga for so long but I always beat myself up about not being good immediately. I think this is the perfect practice to get me to start slow and enjoy every moment. I am holding myself accountable this time. I want to make it through the entire 30 days.

    October is exactly the same as January on numbers matching week days. I was waiting since July to start the revolution all over again because I know every day was meticulously thought to fit the corresponding day of the week, like restorative days on sundays and power days on mondays etc. I just want to invite the community to join me on this journey again, especially because in these times, and at this point of the year the world URGENTLY NEEDS a love Revolution!! Let’s unite our hearts and make a powerful physical prayer together with our minds and bodies finding not only what feels good but also what is inherently good. Like humanity. If we look really deep, that is who we are.

    Anyone doing this in October 2017? I’ve already done this sequence but doing it again because I just love it. This time, my aim is doing 60 days of yoga continuously. I’ll do the Revolution 2 times and compare my practises. Would I manage to do the practice with much more ease in 2nd time? We’ll see. Wish me luck my dear yogi friends!

    Hey, so Shukh in Bangla means happiness and Ashon means seat. Bangla is derived from Sanskrit. So I can see Shukh is related to Sukh, i.e. ease and Ashon related to Asana, i.e. posture. So, in a way, sukhasana is also a happy posture!

    I did something to my trap last week when doing OH presses, the pain had gone away, but yesterday I tried push-ups with a balance in between and that aggravated it to the point of being in so much pain yesterday that I couldnt move. I had a hard time sleeping all night, so this morning I decided to do two of your videos and now, although it still hurts, I can actually move and bend. Thank you!! I’m going to try to do this every morning to get these muscles stretched out – I appreciate your channel!

    I have just finished Day 1. I did 30 days of yoga before beginning revolution. I look forward to yoga time every night and for me its my special time. Time where I don’t think about work, or housework. Just concentrate on the moment. 🙂
