Medical doctor finds spider spinning webs in patient&#039s ear

A medical professional located a spider living inside a man&rsquos ear – and even spinning webs to make itself at property.

Ear, nose and throat specialist Cui Shulin shared photos displaying the bean-sized spider he identified for the duration of an endoscope into the patient&rsquos ear canal.

The medic from Dalian Central Hospital, north-east China, saw the pensioner in his 60s following he came in complaining of a possible insect in his head.

The unnamed patient described the discomfort as getting like one thing &quotbeating a drum&quot in his ear.

He mentioned: &quotI felt discomfort in my ear whilst sleeping last night but I attempted to ignore it.

&quotThis morning the discomfort was nonetheless there. There were noises like some thing was beating a drum.&quot

Physician Cui and his nurses have been stunned when the endoscope revealed a live spider had occupied the patient&rsquos ear canal about two inches deep.

It had also spun elaborate webs to shield itself, the footage shows.

The experienced medical professional ultimately flushed the spider out by spraying the patient&rsquos ear canal with water, later confirming that the man suffered no injuries during the arachnid occupation.

In a social media post, Cui wrote: &quotThis old man showed up at our outpatient clinic right now saying he believed there was insect in his ear.

&quotI performed an endoscopy and found a spider. The factor had spun webs,&quot adding a laughing emoji.

The medic stated he had observed quite a few situations of flying insects such as ladybirds and most frequently cockroaches ending up in individuals&rsquos ears.

But he noted he rarely sees spiders spinning webs and living in a person&rsquos ear.
