Nigeria violence: Suicide bombers kill 10 in Maiduguri

4 suicide bombers have killed at least 10 folks and wounded many others in the north-eastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri.

The attackers, who integrated girls, detonated their explosives in the Muna district, police stated.

No group has said it was behind the attack. Nevertheless, the Islamist militant group Boko Haram has carried out a lot of attacks in Maiduguri, in Borno state.

It often uses female suicide bombers to launch attacks.

The very first blast occurred at about 17:00 GMT, close to a group of people conducting evening prayer, killing seven, state official Bello Dambatta mentioned.

An additional attacker detonated explosives inside a property and the other two blew themselves up before reaching their targets, he added.

Boko Haram has been fighting to set up an Islamic state since 2009.

A report published by US anti-terrorist researchers earlier this year mentioned it is the 1st insurgency in history to use far more girls suicide bombers than men.

Thousands of individuals have been killed and millions forced to leave their residences by Boko Haram violence in recent years.
