I was a little leery ordering a pack from an unknown (at least to me) brand. But the reviews, features and price made it hard to pass up. After unboxing it, a few things stood out: it felt incredibly rugged (pro and a con- more on that below), I liked the modular design and there would be more than enough room to cram 3-5 days worth of gear inside. The build quality is great, featuring 600 denier nylon and double stitching everywhere I looked. The con to that great build quality is the weight of the pack. I’ve filled it to the 55 lb mark and did some 5-6 miles hikes in it. It was comfortable and the straps adjusted adequately, but anything beyond that and I would look to a lightweight alternative that has chest straps, internal frame and beefier waste pads. It also didn’t ride like a backpacking pack where some of the weight is distributed to the hips: most of the weight seemed to sit on the shoulders. That being said, it sat high enough so it was still comfortable and snug. One of the selling points to this pack is the modular design. When I initially ordered it, I questioned the usefulness of the two molle side pouches. After playing around with the load out, one side pouch become a designated medical bag and the other pouch fit a 16oz stainless steel mug at the bottom with a 320z Nalgene bottled nestled inside. With a little wiggling I was able to get the zipper to close enough to secure the bottle. Without the cup at the bottom its a great fit. On the topic of hydration, in the main compartment, there is a large pocket for the hydration bladder and a tight opening for the tube right below the middle carry handle. The pocket doesn’t have a hook, but I had no issues the the bladder moving around while hiking.A few things to note: I’ve flown with this bag with the molle pouches and bottom bag removed and it will fit as a carry-on in the overhead bin… barely. On my return flight I made a point to use the compression straps all the way around to tighten it up. I also noticed on some of the longer hikes, the waist band loosens up after a while. Not a deal killer, but a minor annoyance. I’ve also had to of the paracord laces on the zippers come off- easy to remedy, but again somewhat annoying.Overall, this is killer deal for a quality bag. If you’re looking for a BOB in your trunk or a weekend camping/ short hiking back, this would be hard to beat. I’ve loaded it out with a sleeping bag, bivy sack, clothes and all the essentials for a 3 day overnight trip and had room to spare. It’s also easy to attach a rolled sleeping bad to the top using the existing straps.Pros:- Rugged, quality materials- Modular design is actually useful- Hydration bladder fits well, despite the hole for the drinking tube being extremely snug- Good valueCons:- Not designed for prolonged hiking (heavier, lack of chest strap, frame and skimpy waist pads).- Waist band loosens up frequently and paracord zipper laces come off easily

I bought this backpack to be for camping/backpacking/B.o.B and it is a very awesome backpack! I love how you can attach MOLLEs to it for extra space. Another reason is that I like to categorize my items in sections so it’s easier for me to know where certain items are, unlike the Teton backpacks where they are all just shoved in on one big hole. The backpack comes with a waist padding and sternum strap which is a plus. If you want to know how much you can stuff this backpack, here is what’s inside:- 1 Dried Apple Fruit pouch- 1 Mountain House Ice Cream Sandwhich- 2 Backpackers Pantry Vegan main dish- 2 MREs- 2 Pair of Boxers- 2 Pair of Shirts- 2 Pair of Shorts- 2 Pair of Socks- 2 Mini Vaseline- 2 Toothbrush w/ Toothpaste- 3 Bandanas- 3DS XL with Circle Pad Pro and Charger- 5 Mayday Emergency Ponchos- 12 AA Batteries- A Bunch of Cotton Balls- A Bunch of MRE side dishes and drinks- A Deodorant Stick- Adventure Medical Kits Survive Outdoors Longer Escape Bivvy- CRKT Eat’N Tool Minimal Multi-Tool- Deck of cards- Dorcy Floating Waterproof LED Flashlight with Carabineer Clip (55-Lumens)- Esbit 3-Piece Lightweight Anodized Aluminum Camping Cookset- G1 Phone- Himalaya Herbal Healthcare Neem & Pomegranate Toothpaste- Light My Fire Titanium Spork Spoon Fork Knife- Nail Clippers- NAR Protection Kit- Outdoor First Aid Kit (201 Pieces)- Royal Crest Silver Star 15-Function Multi-Blade Knife Tool- Sawyer Mini Water Filtration System- Sol Survival Poncho- Source Outdoors Widepack Hydration Reservoir System (3-Litre)- Tac Force Tactical Assisted Opening Folding Knife- Thermarest Compressible Pillow (Small)Wow that was a lot to list! I might’ve forgotten a few stuff but too lazy to check… Guess what, even with all those items I listed up top there is STILL MORE ROOM TO PACK MORE STUFF. I’d highly recommend this backpack if you are willing to put its MOLLE attachments to good use!

  3. Frost says:

Just got it today. Opens the package and first thing that came to mind is this thing is huge!! It’s perfect for all my gear. Everything on this bag is built to last. It’s Molly compatible which is perfect. And what’s nice is some compartments have a Molly system like the two on the side so if you want you can take them off and exchange them to fit whatever your doing. All in all this is definitely a great bag!!!! However I’m editing this a bit upon inspecting the bag even more I noticed that the flap in the main compartment had one side ripped off. No big deal for me but I just wanted to warn all of you. Let me know if this helped you or not thanks. Hi I’m editing this review now cause I’ve had the bag for almost a year and since then it has been through hell ( 3 tactical classes, three camping trips, 3 snowmobile trips wayyyy up north, and 5 days of hunting up north.) And I can honestly say that the bag still looked the same as when I got it. If you still find this review helpful please don’t hesitate to hit that thumbs up button. P.S. The last two pics are a month old.

  4. Fayt Quicksilver says:

Received these in April and they have begun to fall apart. I have attached these to a backpack that I wear daily, but they do not go through any abuse or misuse. In fact, I rarely even open them as they hold medial supplies. Very disappointed. MOLLE gear is supposed to be made to handle constant wear and tear. Had I actually put wear and tear on these thing I doubt I would have gotten very far. It is entirely possible this was a one off instance, however.EDIT: The manufacturer reached out to me and graciously offered a refund for the product. They had quick and responsive customer service.

  5. Amazon Customer says:

Great sized backpack. I have used it to travel by packing enough clothes for a couple days, I use it when I ride my motorcycle and it has held up very well. Zipper is on the side for the main pack which threw me off because I wasn’t expecting it. But not I got used to it and really don’t mind it. It can turn into a duffle bag which is cool. Great product!

  6. Phillip says:

For the price this is great but it’s not exactly as big as it seems. Good for a 1 week trip for me and I tend to pack light. The only annoying part is the roll up cover that is good if you intend on using it as a duffle bag but pointless when it’s a backpack

  7. Angelica says:

Husband bought this bag for a short trips and as an everyday carry pack. When packing for a three day trip (light) the side handle nearly ripped off just from lightly packing the contents in. He also bought a small Molle zip pouch and it took up all of the molle straps. The pouch he bought also just looks funny 3/4 up on the bag all by itself. All said, it is a decent quality product but he wishes he would’ve gotten the crazy ants bag with more molle attach points

  8. Marc Gothisson says:

Pretty good pouches, especially for the price. The only improvements I could recommend are a zipper that’s a little more stout, and a reconfiguration of the MOLLE system on the back (the webbing needs a little more space from the strap’s insertion point to mate up more efficiently with other MOLLE systems). Still, they mounted up well on my bug-out bag and I’m happy with them.

  9. Richard Carver says:

These are well made and the right size for almost anything. No kidding. I use the straps to attach it to my tractor for a handgun when out in the field, have a tool kit in one, a fishing kit in another, a fire kit in another. currently I have 6 of them, labeled, in a little cooler in the back box of my truck. All the stuff I don’t want in my EDC pack, however I can throw them in as needed. Radios, chargers, USB cords, you name it. These are great, and well made. The zippers do not bind. Will most likely purchase more.

  10. jack knight says:

I have four of these bags and use the to compartmentalize my range bag. One for compact binocs, one for electronic cables and a backup charge battery for all my devices and a Olight S30 Baton111, one for pens, small knife, 3×5 cards, comb, nail clippers etc. and one for a med kit ( I was a medic in the Air Force). Med bags contents are Israeli compression bandage, tourniquet, 20 4×4 gauze pads, band aids, blood clot powder and an ace wrap. the bags are well made and I am pleased with them. Yes, I would recommend them to a friend or buy them again.

  11. Tactical Shopper says:

I bought a sling bag a month ago as my EDC but quickly realized I needed more space to carry some more of my items. I decided to take a chance on this molle pouch since it was on sale at $9.89. I didn’t need anything expensive since this would serve as an attachment to my sling bag and, at that price point, my expectations were tempered. To my surprise, the pouch was more than I’d expected. The stitching seemed durable and the nylon material is tough. I also had no trouble opening or closing the zippers and the snaps on the molle straps were firm and were in no danger of being detached once I snapped them on my sling bag. The inside of the pouch only had a pocket, but this was no big deal as this would serve me better as this would be used to carry my camera batteries and extra chargers. Thus, having extra compartments would only cramp up the inside for my intended use. The included flag was a good bonus and it probably comprised a third of the price I paid for this pouch. If you’re looking for a pouch that has the extra compartments and all the bells and whistles, then you can probably get one at more than double the price. If you’re looking for an extra pouch for some of your bulkier stuff, this pouch gets the job done and is a steal at this price point.

  12. B'Davka says:

I purchased these with the objective of having a discrete means to carry OC spray and a tactical flashlight on my person and on my various packs. What I hadn’t counted on, however, is how BIG these pouches actually are! They are huge! Consequently, discretion is really out of the question if wearing them personally, and so I gave up on that idea. Nevertheless, because of their size and excellent, durable construction, I still attached them to my Condor 3-day assault pack in the hip area so that I can carry, and readily access, personal items (phone, wallet, id badge) that I once had to store and ferret for in the back compartments of the pack.Note: These pouches are large enough to comfortably fit an IPhone 7 with an Otterbox case and holster on it, and with plenty of room to spare! I challenge you to find another pouch that can do that…Good luck! In sum, it’s an excellent product, durable, of high quality, and well made. Just know, however, that they are BIG! They are as large as the side pouches on an assault pack; they’re probably designed to carry ammunition clips, I imagine.

  13. Jason mershon says:

I got this to carry a water bottle around at Burning Man. Haven’t done that yet, but I have taken it dirt biking. It holds the bottle well, and seems fairly sturdy. I do worry a bit about the fact that there are snaps on the straps, but so far they’ve stayed tight.

  14. Customer UNK says:

This product is well made. Molle are sturdy and the space is large enough to fit my Brita water bottle. Super convenient, and tacticool.

  15. Ava Taylor says:

Very strong backpack, could put a lot in it. Good price based on this good quality.

  16. Mike Rogers says:

This water bottle carrier seems to be well-made; the material feels durable and the stitching is done well. The drawstring can be cinched down so it securely holds the bottle inside. The mesh bottom worries me a little in terms of the possibility of it tearing or snagging on something but we’ll see how it holds up. I got this on Amazon for ~$5 but I notice the price has jumped a bit, but even so I’d say this is worth the money.

  17. Tiffany Le says:

High quality stitching. No lint hanging anywhere. Zippers are high quality with smooth buttery zipping while opening and closing.I can tell already, this bag will last many years of usage. Definitely a expensive bag for a fraction of the price. Seems impossible to have a couple hundred dollar quality for such a price, not sure how LeisonTac does it.Cannot find a flaw with this bag. I’m glad I chose it over other brands with similar looks and price. Unbeatable.

  18. whitescott says:

Really great bag. Bought it for a go bag. Plenty of room so far for a change of clothes for 2 people, first aid kit, food for 3 days (backpacking food), backpacking stove, backpacking cookware, couple water bottles, water purification system, etc etc…Just the right amount of pockets, not so many you can’t remember where things are, but enough to keep organized. We really like that it’s sturdy and big, but it doesn’t shout military or bug out bag. If we take the patch off it could pass for a school bag if someone doesn’t look too closely.Straps are comfortable and adjustable.Still working on putting everything together slowly over time, so far we’re really happy with this bag. As we build up our supplies we will most likely purchase another one of these.******Update******This bag is awesome. We have been slowly building up our bag over time and tonight I went through everything and reorganized. We’re just at the stage where we’ll need another bag so I’m ordering another one of these this week. This bag holds a TON of stuff, zippers are strong and fabric is tough.
