Dr. Sonny Saggar Plans Urgent Care Center in Downtown St. Louis

Downtown might get an urgent care center prior to the year is over. Dr. Sonny Saggar, an ER doctor at St. Luke’s, is arranging to open a medical facility on the ground floor of a constructing he bought on Olive Street in the Old Post Office District.

Saggar purchased the building at 916 Olive on March 12 for $1.1 million from the estate of lawyer Jack Randall, who died this year. The 27,000-square-foot creating is greatest recognized for its exterior neon sign depicting President Harry Truman. The acquisition was privately financed.

Saggar plans to invest $2 million into transforming 4,000 square feet on the ground floor into an urgent care center for downtown workers and guests. Saggar has contracted with Hal Hanstein and Tonia Roberts of Cardinal Realty to lease the remainder of developing, which Saggar stated could be filled with health and wellness associated firms and practices. Saggar stated he’s also in negotiations with a health club to lease space in the basement of the constructing.
