  9. fastforward720 says:

Regarding that you will face a shitload of problems (Wacom tablet works shit, external Monitor works shit – only HDMI1.4 – kidding???, Mac Harddrives, Fonts + Files work shit, no proper file preview, no proper screenshotting, no proper filebrowsing, no proper anything…, putting in usb-devices is like pulling teeth, the housing is wobbling, there are edges, inner surface just catches oil and skin so disgustingly fast) you better spend more money on a reliable and working Apple. Made the change to the fully stacked newest XPS a while ago and ever since then it just hast cost me so much time just getting the most simple things going and a lot of things do not work. Overall, to me being dependent on a smart fast shortcut-orientated workflow where you need to preview files, folders, work with a Wacom and other external input devices, it’s a useless piece of shit for anyone who wants to have a laptop for professional creative work. If you just jump into Premiere and scrubb around with your 4K-footage it seems legit. For any more holistic creative work – better stick with apple (and I am by far not a fanboy)

At 1:15 how did you get the battery to display like that? Is it a setting or something downloaded?

  20. BlackHawk says:

Someone please help, I’m stuck on which configuration to get for the xps 15. I’ll be going to college so that’s what my main use for it will be. I’d also like to do some mild gaming like pub battlegrounds and trying to learn adobe premiere on it. What should I settle for ? The i5 (8GB, 1TB HDD, 32GB SSD, 56Whr) for $1800 CAD or The i7 (16GB, 512GB SSD, 97Whr) for $2299 CAD ? I’d really like the extra battery time and the SSD but is it worth the $500 more ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  21. Sexy Mofo says:

Hey, your video was really good and informative!:)
One question though. I am planning on getting a new laptop and the 2 candidates are either this xps 15 or a MB Pro 15". Since I am mainly going to use it for coding, the fan noise is a really important factor for me. Macbooks are known for their quiet cooling system but I heard that the xps can actually get really loud. Do you agree?

  22. happinessisafulltank says:

I’ve watched tons of reviews on the XPS 15. I really liked this one. Great job. Simple, visually pleasing, just all around great.

  23. No Other says:

Any coil whine on the xps 15? Is it too big to carry around for a college student?

  24. Tosan Esoko says:

The webcam threw me off. But overall its a great laptop

  25. Zoteism says:

Where did you get your wallpaper? It’s beautiful!

  26. Vgadget says:

Wow you have the same build that me (dell power companion included) ??

  27. sanwal farooque says:

so there was no coil whining?

  28. Wilbert Cheng says:

Love the laptop but Sketchapp can’t run using PC

  29. Faizul Zuraimi says:

Do you think it will perform well on fifa 18?

  30. bumblebee8400 says:

Ik heb de laptop nodig voor 3D-design, Unreal Engine en Adobe programmas. Zou de XPS 15 goed genoeg zijn?

ps: ik heb geen zin om het in het engels te doen hahah

  31. W. Sriubon says:

Hi Peter. great review on this awesome laptop man, but how do you experience with the backlight bleed and coil whine of this laptop? I heard a lot of complain about it on.

  32. Tobi Ajakaye says:

Nice review by the way, keep up the good work!

  33. pashe01 says:

    more reviews please.

  34. Sgh Vgg says:

  36. YoungNickJr says:

What desk is that ? & where did u buy it from ?

  37. Seth Clayburn says:

That laptop should have the Dell Inspiron speakers and subwoofers on it including the webcam placement.. then it’ll be worth the money

  38. Hui An Xin says:

Great review and nice channel you have going on, subbed!

  39. Lucas Partisse says:

What battery life can i expect with this 1080p, 97whr and with a web browsing and programming usage ?
u said 8-10h for web browsing. But with coding, what do you think ?

I know its a strange question, but this laptop support a 4k monitor? or only FHD?

  45. Brad H says:

Would love to know where you found the desk/table that you’re using.

  46. Bavo Vandorpe says:

Just wondering, really digging the setup you have with your xps! But how did you get the type c dongle in such a nice spot? I mean is the cord long enough to reach your laptop? Thanks in advance for responding!

  47. Star Gate says:

Nice review.. Can I get a bit of help here to buy the right laptop? I have Dell XPS 15-9560 and Alienware 17 R4 in my mind.
    I am comparing Dell XPS 15-9560 with UHD 4k touch which supports up to 1 TB SSD, 32GB RAMx2400Hz and 4GB VDDR5 GTX 1050 Graphics and Alienware 17 R4 UHD that supports up to 3TB SSD+HDD, 32GB RAMx2400Hz and 8GB VDDR5 GTX 1080 graphics. I hardly game..
I am looking for a power horse that can basically serve these purposes:
    1) Render 4k videos in Adobe Premier pro, After effects, Davinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer with ease.
    2) 3D modelling in Blender and Cinema 4d
    3) Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
The challenges in front of me for the Dell XPS 15-9560 is limited SSD storage (only up to 1TB) and a max of 4GB GTX 1050 VDDR5 graphics, where as Alienware offers up to 3TB and 8GB GTX 1080 VDDR5 graphics, while both offers up to 32GB DDR4 RAM x 2400Hz. I am not concerned with the heaviness of Alienware (5Kg), but care for ultimate performance. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you !

  48. Alex Caldas says:

Should I get the 4K or fullhd?

  49. Agile KM says:

    Very Good !!!!!
